Michael here with a quick update on an awesome upcoming event!

Are you looking for an on- or off- campus job? Tuesday, August 27th the Career Services Team at Gateway is hosting a Part-Time Job fair. This exciting event will take place on the grassy field immediately outside the Gateway Student Success Center entrance from 10am-1pm.

Get your resume looking sharp (Gateway Career Services website can help!), dress nicely, and come out to this casual event to meet with on-campus and local employers.  Employers have part-time opportunities they’re hoping to fill on the 27th, so come prepared to explain why you’re the person for the job!

This is a great event to help you start developing your professional networking skills.   A part-time job is one excellent step to help you begin developing the hands-on experience you’ll need for your professional future.  Gateway Career Team members will be on hand to help with Jobs for Jacks questions- NAU’s online recruiting system- and to offer tips on how you can improve your resume.

AND! Mark your calendars for the Career Fair on Wednesday, October 9.  More information to follow in the coming weeks, but we’re excited about our new location at the Health and Learning Center!
